Bio: Before she and Luna ruled Equestria, It was ruled by Discord who made all ponies in Equestria miserable for Discords own sake. Eventually, Celestia and Luna overthrew Discord and turned him into stone thanks to the Elements of harmony. Then they ruled Equestria for sometime before 1000 years ago where Luna turned into Nightmare Moon, forcing Princess Celestia to again use the Elements of Harmony against Luna and banished her to the moon.
Then she ruled Equestria by herself, raising both the Sun and the moon for a thousand years with peace in Equestria within that time. Then Nightmare moon returned and with Twilight and her friends, stopped Nightmare Moon and returned her to Princess Luna which Celestia was overjoyed to hear. The rest is history.
Overall Persona: She is mostly the mentor of Twilight and often gives advice to Twilight on her adventures. Usually considered a relaxed rule, Princess Celestia often jokes around and messes with her subjects and advices her subjects to calm down a little. She likes jokers herself with often liked getting tricked by Twilight. She is often annoyed by the strict standards of the upper-class and is thrilled when things are "livened' up at party or gala.
