It was just after Chrismas and the fillies and/or colts were comeing back to school. The teacher then introduced a new boy, who was imediatly laughed at. The boy was a strange looking creature,the teachers assistant-Misty Muzzle- sighed "Students,this is Distort-he is very special,so please leave him be" he pushed the boy up in front of the others,his bird-bat wings flapped once of twice as he shifted his front hooves,or should I say his front hoof-cause his other front hand was a lion paw. His back paw another hoof and a eagle talon. His tail a snake tail with a puffy black puff ball on the back of it that resembled a rattlesnake coil. His body was a pinkish brown color except his head that was brown,his eyes were clear blue.His had a blue unicorn horn on his head and his hair was dressed neatly. He mumbled a few words,trying to ignore the laughter

One pony did not laugh, she sat in the back corner, not even realising what was going on until she peeked her head over her books. She couldn't help but wonder what it was.
A bag of insects dropped on the filly sitting next to her. Causing the bag to explode and covering the poor girl in bugs and spiders, she screeched and jumped out of the nearest window. Further more all the other free tables and chairs seemed to decide to collapse on their own at the exact same time, making the only available seat situated conveniently right next to Spyra.
The Draconequus blushed heavily, both at the glares she received and by the realisation of what her Draconequus magic had just done.

The small boy stared as the girl got covered in bugs and the chairs colapsed,he blinked a few times,then noticed only one chair hadn't broken,so he went and sat there,he then noticed the girl next to him and blinked again,this girl looked sorta like the same way he did,well not perfectly,her stared simply,then after a few seconds lowered his head. He wasn't in any mood to talk to anypony actually,he made his wings stop moveing so ponies stopped stareing at him,hopefully and kept his head down low,so only his blue eyes were visable because his mane was covering his face.

Bubble blower was impossibly annoyed at his classmate's reaction to his little brother. So what if he was different, everyone was different in their own way weren't they? Still, he would have to show him at least slight coldness so that distort would manage to make other friends. He just hoped that Distort would manage it, not all ponies were very..... accepting

Distort kept his head lowered still, but let his eyes wander, first thing he saw was the teacher and her assistant, they both seemed nice, then he looked at the girl sitting next to him, who wasn't laughing, probablly cause she knew what he was like, not quite being normal. He then looked at another girl, who wasn't laughing either, he had seen her before with his older brother- Birdtune was it? BirdLull? Something like that... Birdsong! That was her name. Speaking of his older brother he noticed him looking at him and lowered his eyes back to the desk, he didn't need Bubble Blower getting laughed at for being related in any way to somepony like him.

Spyra blushed heavier as the creature sat next to her. She wasn't sure what to do now, she knew what her magic was up to, and she just hoped to Luna that her Draconequus magic wouldn't do something like join their tables together. She looked down to see that her seat and table had suddenly jolted toward's the other's desk. Furthermore her hoof was about an inch from his own. Shocked by the sudden intimacy Spyra jolted back and fell out of her seat.

Most of the kids laughed at her,Birdsong stood up and helped Sprya up simply,then went and sat back down,ignoreing when the kids started saying stuff like 'look,the little clutz Birdsong had to go help the freak up!' and several other rude comments,she just simply sat down.
Distort stared,he had no idea what to say except this "Are you alright?" he now lifted his head up and looked at her

Lucky sat in he back of the classroom....well.....Sleeping...
He was enjoying a little nap when a pony fell and woke him up
He rubbed his eyes to check out the fallen pony.
Wait, she looks a little fimiliar.
Luckys was a bit out of whack from his little nap to focus....and he fell back on his desk and began to nap again.

Now everypony laughed at HIM.

"Leave him alone!" came a sharp voice,everypony looked and saw that small new kid standing up and glareing,most kids kept laughing but one or two started saying rude things to Distort,but he ignored them

Lucky looked amazed at this new pony's sudden burst of courage to stand up and telling everypony to leave lucky alone, and not to be bothered by other pony's remarks.
