Down At The Farm (Open)

The sun slowly rose over the hilltops, shining a beautiful orange glow onto equestria. As the sun rolled over the tall apple trees of Sweet Apple Acres, the wet dew on the grass, leaves and apples glistened.

The orange shine of morning soon lite up the inside of the home to the farms caretakers. As sunlight crept over AppleJack, the head caretaker, she let out a sigh, and a moan. Her eyes slowly crept open, but only about half way.

"Ugh, Morning already?" she said, as she lifted her self out of bed, and stretched out the tired. She let out a loud yawn before finishing. She then walked over to her Brown Stetson hat, flopped it onto her head, and trotted off down the stairs. She was first awake, as usual.

She grapped an apple from a fruit bowl, and quickly gobbled it up, then washed it down with some water. She then made her way outside to tend to the farms needs. When she stepped off her farm homes pourch, she took in a deep breath of fresh morning air.

"Welp, Time to start farmin'." She said with a relaxed and contempt sigh.

There was one more member of the apple family awake already,the female was outside waiting lobidently,suddenly her ears perked up and she ran over towards the voice-
And no it wasn't Applebloom you dummies,
It was Winona,the dog continued trotting slowly,her tounge lolling out of her mouth slightly. The dog then sat by the porch and saw Applejack,she imediatly let out a "Bark bark!" her tail wagging furiously

Applejack let out a smirk and a giggle as Winona trotted up to her loyaly.

"Heya Winona. Ready to get to work?" She asked, petting the dog playfully.

Winona nodded, her tail wagging "Arf!" she started running around Applejack happily,then stopped loyaly at the orange earth ponies side.

AppleJack grinned. She was still a bit tired, but that wuldn't stop her. First thing to do, feed the cattle. She walked into the barn, all the cows talking and gossiping with one another allready.
"Morining' ladies." Applejack said, getting a flurry of "Hello's" and "Good Mornings" back as a response. She grabbed a large pale of food for the cows in her mouth. With a grunt, she luggged it over and began to feed them.
"One at a time! Hey! No Pushin' you! You'll get some! Landsake's ya'll act like you haven't eaten in days!" Applejack yelled into the crowd, as the pushed and shoved to get some food. Cows. What're ya gonna do?

Winona was faithfully next to Applejack barking at the cows that tried to get out of place, she let out a growl at them and they backed up, then seemed satisfiyed because she smiled and wagged her tail
