A yellow pegasus was blasting around,looking for a familier colt,her purple colored eyes scanned the ground as her pink mane flew behind her,caressing the wind gently yet at the same time pushing it out of it's way.

Darkhooves walked around town square, not really doing much, just strolling. He looks around and sits down on a bench.

A small yellow and pink pegasus flew above him,not noticeing the black pony. She continued to look around for that special colt freind she had,sure they wern't dateing-thats gross,but he was awsome company-weather throwing a party,pulling pranks,or just plain hanging out.

Bubble was walking down the high street, his long mane flowing behind him fluttering in the wind. It was nice not to have to deal with those silly fillies at school for once. He was caught in his thoughts when he noticed his best friend flying around the area. Normally he would have gallopped up to her, but something felt wrong. Still, it's Birdsong, he thought, what's the worst that could possibly happen>
"Bird! Down here! You ok, lass?"

Bird skidded to a stop "Hi Bubble!" she blasted down next to him "i'm ok,but what about you?" she asked,her purple eyes concerned "You look sorta dpressed for some reason,and that isn't like you"

"me depressed? you silly billy! I'm totally not depressed at all! What would someone like ME have to be depressed about?" Bubble started to act his usual, zany self. "But you on the other hands look like there's something up about ya. Now, you know me, I ain't one to dig into others business...... OOH THAT SOUNDS DODGY!!...... but are you sure you're okay?"

Darkhooves looks over his shoulder and sees a little filly, she looks like Fluttershy, but she couldn't be.... he thinks Come on hooves, keep to yourself.

The small filly said "Well I was thinking,and I was wondering why mommy is hideing so much stuff from me,and why she won't let me see Mrs.Rainbowdash" she frownt for a second,then smiled again "But lets not get sad!" she said with a smile.

"Yeah, sadness is madness! and so is friendship! we all need a bit more madness!" Bubble was personally zany to the point of insanity, so he loved seeing other people go a bit coo-coo. He noticed a strange, black pony looking at Bird. Normally that wouldn't matter, she was quite a cutie (Not like that you silly reader, get your mind out of the gutter! hee hee) and as such people often admired her cutesiness, but this guy looked different. It seemed as if he was trying to work out something about her, and it just struck Bubble the wrong way
"Hey, birdie, something feels fishie about that big guy over there! you know, the one that's been looking at you for like a minute!"

Dakrhooves turned around and said, " I'm Dark hooves, I think I know your mother. Isn't her name Fluttershy, the Elemnt of kindness" Darkhooves talked in a gentle voice.

"yeah, her mother is the Element of kindness, but how do YOU know her?!?" Bubble wouldn't normally be acting this weird, but something felt worrying about the way he'd said Mrs. Fluttershy's name, as if there was some history there or something. Whatever way it was, that didn't excuse him goggling at his friend like that
"Look here, Mister, I don't mean to be rude but even if you do know her mother, why has Bird never seen you before. I mean, I don't know everyone she knows, but she reacted to you pretty weird."

Birdsong went and hid behind Bubble,knowing the colt would take care of the strange pony "I don't know him" she said softly,her head lowered.
