Discord could only smirk with malevolent delight as the two fillies came running over to him. He sank into the wall next to him and waited for the girls to pass right by him before popping out, behind them, listening to the plights of the other ponies as they fretted over the fillies' whereabouts.
Oh this was certainly going to be an interesting game. Discord didn't think he'd hear those voices again, but was so very glad that he had. He gazed around the corner and saw Applejack charging ahead, obviously searching for the duo. The dragonokis grinned mischeviously, raising a wall to close off entry into the path that the two fillies had just entered.
With a light chuckle, he vanished, reappearing a meter ahead of Applebloom and Scootaloo. His red eyes glowed in the darkness, and he let out a loud, thunderous cackle as he flew towards the two, not wanting to miss the terrified looks on their faces.
